Aspley Guise
and District RC are hosting a dressage to
music lecture demo with Alison Kenward BHS II
SM and Dr Roy Tipping at Bury Farm on 16th
March. The evening sponsored by the Litley pasture
management group begins at 19.30 with Alison riding
her winning elementary test.

Dr Tipping will be
explaining to the audience the requirements of
competing in freestyle and leading some discussion
with Alison and the other riders on how they
designed their programmes.
The evening has been
designed to be interactive so audience members can
ask questions and test themselves on the matching of
music to horse and rider. Dr Tipping, a Professor of
Music and BD judge will be covering the technical
aspect of the performance and Alison will be
demonstrating how floor plans can be improved with a
live coaching session.
There will be 4 horses demonstrating different
standards from Preliminary through to Medium levels.
It's a demonstration suitable
for everyone!
