Points are awarded to rider/horse combinations when being placed at club competitions and for representing the club and being placed at official BRC.

The following details how points are won:

For AG&DRC club competitions point’s area awarded as follows:

1st  place 6 points
2nd place 5 points
3rd  place 4 points
4th  place 3 points
5th  place 2 points
6th  place 1 point. 

Representing the club

            2 points, only 1 bonus of 2 points per event.

Being place when representing the club

1st  place 6 points + 2 points for representing the club
2nd place 5 points + 2 points for representing the club
3rd  place 4 points + 2 points for representing the club
4th  place 3 points + 2 points for representing the club
5th  place 2 points + 2 points for representing the club
6th  place 1 point   + 2 points for representing the club 

NB: Where the competition is a team competition only, as in the Winter Novice Dressage or Winter Show Jumping, points are only awarded to the team.  Individual placings do not accrue points in team only competitions 

Bonus Points

            If part of a team at the Nationals 2 points for representing club
            If competing as individual at Nationals 2 points for representing club

            Only 1 bonus of 2 points per combination therefore if competing in 2 classes at National only 2 
            points will be awarded

Placing at the Nationals either as team or individual earns points as follows:

1st  place 6 points + 2 points for representing the club
2nd place 5 points + 2 points for representing the club
3rd  place 4 points + 2 points for representing the club
4th  place 3 points + 2 points for representing the club
5th  place 2 points + 2 points for representing the club
6th  place 1 point   + 2 points for representing the club

The committee's decision is final on how points are awarded.
