Being a member of the club should be about having fun, learning, trying new things and making friends with like minded individuals. It is a support network for nervous novices and a springboard for more experienced riders to improve and build on their skills. With this in mind, the committee will strive to make everyone feel as welcome, comfortable and involved as possible.
Membership of the Aspley Guise & District Riding Club, which is affiliated to British Riding Clubs (Area 7) gives members access to the whole of the UK’s Riding Clubs movement and its infrastructure of local, area, regional and national competition opportunities.
Members also benefit from a range of Aspley Guise & District Riding Club clinics and local competitions plus various non-riding and social events throughout the year. Local competitions are usually held at major venues in the area such as Milton Keynes Event Centre, Addington Manor, Bury Farm, Wing Jumping and Dressage Centre, The College EC at Keysoe, etc. and clinics are often held indoors, especially in the winter. Members get reduced entry fees to competitions and clinics and can cover the cost of their membership very quickly!
We welcome members of all experience and ability. Whether you ride or prefer to support from the ground, please join us – we’d love to have you!
