Teams

For those of you not in the know, AG&DRC often enter teams in competitions to compete against other Riding Clubs.

We have put together a guide to all things teamly. This is the area of the website where you can find out all about what team events are on, how it works and how you can get involved. There's no selection criteria for teams, anyone of any standard is welcome.

Group Dressage Training
with Rachael Clark

Rachael Clark has been involved in all aspects of equestrianism for many years competing successfully up to CCI 1* in Eventing and representing the Pony Club from a young age at Open Level in Dressage, Horse trials and Showjumping.

Rachael was awarded her Pony Club A test, one of only 8 members nationally to achieve this in 2010 and also has her UK Coaching Certificate.

In 2010 she decided to concentrate on her number one passion which is dressage. She has represented the Byrds Central region, qualifying for the BYRDS National Finals 2010/2011 and finishing 2nd in 2011 in the ride off at Hartpury College.  She was 4th in the National Finals of the pony club open dressage 2011.

She has recently qualified for the British Dressage Winter Nationals at Elementary and Medium level.  She is working at Prix St Georges level at home and is aiming to be out competing at this level this year.

Rachael trains herself with Carol Bennitt BHSI and is an enthusiastic trainer, seeking to achieve the best for the rider and horse/pony partnership.

Team training will be incorporated.  However, everyone is welcome and it will be an opportunity for all whether you are interested in being a part of the team or not.  It will also be a chance to get to know other members of the riding club.

We are aiming to run for 3 hours.  Rider/horse combinations will be grouped together according to ability in pairs (30 mins), or threes (45 mins) or fours (1 hour) depending on the level and number of entries.

The sessions will run between 1pm and 4pm in the large new indoor school 35m by 65m
