Volunteers required

You know that a good cake relies on the correct balance of ingredients and cooking – it is the same for the championships but the ingredients are the volunteer helpers (salt of the earth etc etc) who give generously of their time to ensure others have a good time.  It is possible to compete and help on the same day so please, think ahead, rope in a friend, offer an hour or two of your time (or more if you are able to) to keep the day moving forward and worthy of a Michelin star or two or three …
